Internal Logic

When thinking about how flat-packed architecture, I considered what made that mode of construction desirable. For economical purposes, the entire structure would be transported to the building site in one vehicle. Using modular design and tilt up construction made reaching this goal easier. The structure would only include two components: hollow concrete slabs and steel posts. Due to the rich visual cues around the site, it seemed best to slightly adjust the modules to add to the richness of the site through form and shadow.

Utilizes modular units to complete a simple structure that serves a very flexible use despite its program. Though it is unlike my proposed rest stop in that it would take more than one vehicle to transport all of the modules, it is still a very simple structure to assemble and uses the Maxi construction system.
