This memorial wall is cut into the ground and made of a polished black granite. As a result, the material creates a mirror effect, showing reflected images of its surroundings.

The affect of the wall on the visitors is a very powerful experience. Since the wall desends into the ground, as you walk along it you become set off from your surroundings; It becomes just you and the wall. It becomes a very personal and reflective experience.
